Call To Worship L: Come, let us worship God! P: Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! L: Come, let us worship our Shepherd! P:We are the sheep of God’s pasture, and we follow where God leads us. L: Come, let us open our hearts! P: We receive God’s love poured into our hearts through the Spirit. L: Come, let us worship God, the rock of our salvation! P: Let us worship God, whose mercy guides and sustains us on the path of new life!
*Hymn #369: Blessed Assurance 1 Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! O, what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, born of His Spirit, washed in His blood. Refrain: This is my story, this is my song,

praising my Savior all the day long; this is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. 2 Perfect submission, perfect delight, visions of rapture now burst on my sight; angels descending, bring from above echoes of mercy, whispers of love. [Refrain] 3 Perfect submission, all is at rest, I in my Savior am happy and blest; watching and waiting, looking above, filled with His goodness, lost in His love. [Refrain]
Morning Prayer – Unison Father God, we thank you that your amazing unfathomable love has been

poured out for us at the cross and poured into us by the Holy Spirit. We want to taste and experience more of the depth and breadth and length and height of your amazing love. Help us to walk by faith. Help us to endure in suffering. Amen.
Celebrations & Concerns Pastoral Prayer The Lord’s Prayer *Gloria Patri # 70 Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Ministry in Music: Andantino in D flat by Edwin H. Lemare
Psalm 95 pg. 814 Response #1 Response: Harden not your hearts; listen to God’s voice
1 O Come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come into God’s presence with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. 3 For the LORD is a great God, And a great ruler above all gods. 4 In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the height of the mountains. 5 The sea belongs to God, for he made it, and the dry land, because God formed it. R
6 O come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; 7 for the Lord is our God and we are the people of God’s pasture, the sheep of God’s hand. Hear the voice of the Lord today, 8 harden not your hearts as at Meribah, as on that day at Massah in the wilderness, 9 where your forebears tested me; And put me to the proof, though they had seen my work. 10 For forty years I loathed that generation; And said, ‘They are a people who err in heart, and they do not regard my ways.’ 11 Therefore I swore in my anger That they should not enter my rest.’” R
Prayer of Confession – Unison Eternal God, from the beginning of time, you have called your children into communion with you. Yet we confess that like all the rest, we have turned to our own way and refused your love and grace. Restore us to the joy of

knowing you and of recognizing your reign among us, through Jesus Christ, bringer of your good news. Amen.
Hymn #430: O Master Let Me Walk with Thee 1. O Master, let me walk with thee In lowly paths of service free; Tell me thy secret; help me bear The strain of toil, the fret of care.

  1. Help me the slow of heart to move By some clear, winning word of love; Teach me the wayward feet to stay, And guide them in the homeward way. 3. Teach me thy patience; still with thee In closer, dearer company, In work that keeps faith sweet and strong, In trust that triumphs over wrong: 4. In hope that sends a shining ray Far down the future’s broadening way; In peace that only thou canst give, With thee, O Master, let me live.
Scripture: Romans 5:1-11 pg. 155 New Testament 1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. 6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. 11 More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. L: This is the Word of God for the people of God. P: Thanks be to God.
